IASPOTA Iowa State Parks on the Air
Sep 1st, 2020 | By Des Moines Radio Amateurs' Association | Category: AlertsTweet
As you may know, to date there have been 1021 contacts made and 41 Iowa State Parks activated. I want to thank all of you who have made this possible. It is been a tremendous effort. And it is an outstanding accomplishment for the amateur radio community of Iowa.
Someone asked which Parks still needed activation. The attached list shows the parks still needing activation—or in other words, opportunities for activation. When on the air, remember to mention that the QSL cards are now available to those stations you work if they want to send an SASE to the Great River Amateur Radio Club. For more details and address see the GRARC website at w0dbq.org. Call me if you have questions or concerns.
QST continues to mention our special event and I have noticed several of you who have added IASPOTA on your QRZ.com webpages. Thanks.
Make Iowa proud, put a state park on the air,
73,
