But the Christmas credit card bills have arrived (did you really need that Snuggie?), the economy sucks and the taxman is on his way. Our advice is that you not ask the YL for money. She ain’t going to give it to you for no new radio, especially when you have all those old ones laying around.

But we do have a plan for you. If you do it right, you might make her happy AND get that new radio you’ve been coveting. Here’s what you do:

(1) Clean your shack.

(2) Put all the stuff that you haven’t used in the past three years in your trunk.

(3) Haul it all to the Winter RF Fest in Perry, Iowa on Feb. 28, 2009.

(4) Sell it.
