Really doesn’t sound like this is much of a newsworthy item until you hear the “rest of the story”.

We recently had an inquiry on the DMRAA.com website, asking if we could help a gentleman with renewing his father’s FCC license.  The son who is 72 contacted us to help renew WØWSJ, Battista’s license.  Turns out dad, 98 years young, still spends some time in the shack and did not want to let his license expire.  We called his son and checked a few details.  He will be able to renew in a couple of months.  We mailed form 605 (partially completed) and other needed information to his son, who assures us that his dad will sign it and mail it to the FCC in March.  It tickles us to see the enthusiasm is still there at 98.
