Join us for the Quarterly Polk County ARES meeting.  Monday, 7:00 PM July 17 at the Polk County Emergency Operations Center.  1907 Carpenter, Des Moines.  Speaker will be Colonel Robert Hedgepeth (ret), KEØGSN.  The topic will be the upcoming communications exercise Operation Stable Mercury at Camp Dodge September 7th & 8th.  This exercise will include partners from the Air Force, Army, Emergency Management, State Homeland Security, ARES and others.   Approximately 12 Amateur operators will be needed.  All amateurs are encouraged to attend.
