DMR (Digital Mobile Radio) is continuing to gain momentum around Iowa.  Last count shows well over 425 hams registered in Iowa.  The weekly 3119 statewide net had 86 check-ins this Sunday night.  The new TYT dual-band mobile is starting to hit Iowa.  Many folks now know what a “codeplug” is!  The new radios for the SEOC and the Weather Service will be installed soon.
