Once again, the National Weather Service is holding their annual event, Skywarn Recognition Day. This year’s event will be Friday, November 30 and Saturday, December 1. The 24-hour event begins at 6pm local on Friday evening. All amateur radio operators are invited to the Johnston NWS Office to stop in and say “hi” (and maybe even do some operating) between 6 and 10pm on Friday. (Please note: that while the event does run through Saturday at 6pm, the Johnston office is only “open” on Friday this year.
