Annual SKYWARN Spotter Training, February 25th, 2014

Join us for our annual SKYWARN spotter training. While not a requirement to participate in nets during severe weather, spotter training helps the spotter be better prepared and provides the National Weather Service better quality reports. If you already have taken the training then you are strongly encouraged to come and refresh your knowledge base. Ken Podrazik Moines National Weather Service meteorologist will present their yearly Spotter Training on Tuesday February 25, 2014 at 7:00pm in the Recital Hall at Plymouth Congregational Church, 42nd a& Ingersoll, Des Moines. This training is recommended to all amateur radio operators. The public is invited also. Bring your children and spouse for this important training.
Note: The Recital Hall is on the 3rd Floor.
There will be a short meeting at 6:45 for the Mid-Iowa Skywarn Association
