Be sure and bring your favorite handheld radio to the DMRAA’s first meeting of the year.  This meeting will be all about HTs.  If you are a new Ham or a seasoned veteran be sure to come.  For January’s meeting, several hams will be speaking about their HT.  Topics covered will include why you love it, what you’d change about it, programming by hand or software, thoughts about accessories and aftermarket antennas and any other issues or thoughts you’d care to share with the group. Each talk will last up to 3 minutes.

After the presentations, we’ll have free time for everyone to chat with the owners of the HTs they’re interested in.

This is going to be a great opportunity for new and old hams to see in real life various HTs they’ve seen online or in catalogs and talk to an owner who has experienced the up’s and down’s of life with a particular radio.  Don’t forget to bring your handheld.

This will be a great meeting for newly licensed hams to attend.
