Iowa Repeater Council Clearing Backlog of Applications
Aug 30th, 2019 | By Des Moines Radio Amateurs' Association | Category: ArchiveTweet
Since appointing a new repeater coordinator the Iowa Repeater Council has nearly cleared all of the pending applications. Paul, WØYR is the new coordinator and has spent over 50 hours getting things in shape. Under new leadership the council is setting a goal of 90 days for new applications to be ready for the applicant. Of course this assumes that the applicant completely fills out the application and answers any questions in a timely manner.
In other news the council will offer a “Help Desk” at the Southeast Iowa Hamfest as well as Hamfests in Des Moines and Cedar Rapids. It will even be possible to start a new coordination request at the Help Desk.
