Tonights Polk ARES meeting has been postponed until February 8. The incident command courses will be held at that time as well.

On January 10th at 7:00 p.m., Polk County ARES and Polk County EMA will be holding a meeting at the new county operations center at 1907 Carpenter. Jon Davis will be teaching the IS-100 and IS-700 classes. Anyone wishing to become NIMS compliant should attend the meeting.

The Camporee expected to have 10,000 Scouts and parents. While the weather degenerated during the day Saturday, many scouts and leaders visited the ham demo area.
