On Sunday, June 22nd at 1:00 PM, we’ll begin setting up the tower trailer with a beam antenna on the south side of the Fort Des Moines Museum and Education Center. We’ll also be running coaxial cable from the permanent tower and antennas into the large room on the museum’s first floor, and preparing a couple of radio stations.

These stations will be used during the inaugural youth radio camp the week leading up to Field Day, and then again during Field Day weekend as part of the club’s Five Echo effort (permanent stations operating on emergency power).
