WØSCI, the Radio Scouting club of Central Iowa, is pleased to announce the sixtieth Jamboree On The Air will be held on Saturday, October 21, 2017 from 9 AM until 4 PM at the Maytag Scout Center, 6123 Scout Trail, Des Moines, Iowa.

Jamboree On The Air is an annual scouting event and the largest in the world drawing over 1 million participants from over 120 countries. Participants are able to experience the magic of making radio contact with other scouts around the world.

This year’s event will feature multiple HF and VHF/UHF stations for scouts and visitors to experience two-way radio communication first hand. New this year will be a Jamboree On the Internet station allowing visitors to make contacts via the Internet.
