When the new WØAK Kenwood repeater was installed in January of this year the DMRAA board decided to find an appropriate location and coordinate the club’s 2nd repeater WØAK-2 back to Des Moines.

The board favored a spot at the Des Moines Veterans Hospital and we were able to get permission to install the old 94 repeater with a new DB-224E antenna at the VA.

The repeater was installed the 9th of December and seems to be working “Fine Business”.   More information and additional pictures will be in the December Static Sheet.
