Plan on joining the Des Moines Radio Amateurs Association for a fun packed Field Day.  We will be at Yellow Banks County Park near Runnels Iowa again this year.

We will also be operating out of the two Polk County ARES trailers, Emcom 1 and Emcom 2.  Both are air conditioned and offer protection out of the elements if needed.  Of course we will have the portable tower trailers with all the appropriate antennas, rotors and coax needed to have a productive event.  This event is open to all amateur radio operators.  This is especially true for the newer hams.  A good time to “get your feet wet”!  Of course there will be food and drink provided by the club..

Set up is Saturday morning at 9:00AM with the operations beginning at 1:00PM.  Come and enjoy all or part of the festivities.
