The September meeting of the Des Moines Radio Amateurs Association will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 22, 2026, at Area515 Des Moines Maker Space, located at 108 W. Jefferson, Des Moines, IA.

Area515 Des Moines Maker Space has been a multi-year exhibitor at our hamfest, and this month’s meeting will feature a guided tour of their facilities. If you can’t make it for the 6:00 p.m. club tour, you’re still welcome to stop by—Area515 is open for public tours at 7:00 p.m. every Tuesday.

Area515 Des Moines Maker Space offers a wide range of maker and fabrication tools, including 3D printing, auto shop, CNC machines, electronics, laser cutting, vinyl cutting, metal shop, leather working, textiles, and a wood shop.
