The Des Moines Radio Amateur Association is pleased to announce our 2nd One Day Technician Class.  Amateur Radio is an exciting hobby with many opportunities and this 1 day class is fast paced and intended to prepare each student to pass the Amateur Radio entry level exam.  The FCC test will be administered at the end of the class and is included with your registration.  Registration form is at the bottom of this page.

• Date: February 27, 2016
• Class time : 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM   Testing will follow the training session
• Class Size:  Class size will be limited to 20 students
• Cost : $ 100.00 per student  Cash or personal check only.  Payment is due upon registration, at that time the Textbook and Pre-Course material will be provided to the student.
• Cost will include:  Student text book (2014 – 2018 Technician Class by Gordon West)
• Pre-Course Q & A material that must be completed prior to the class to insure success for the student
• Donuts in the morning, cookies in the afternoon
• Pizza lunch with soft drinks and water.  We will have a working lunch.
• Testing
• A handheld, HT, dual band (2m & 440cm) transceiver that will be pre-programmed to many of the Des Moines area repeaters.
• One year membership to the DMRAA
• Students can register on line to receive the payment instructions. Once payment is received they will be sent the text book and pre-course assignment.
