Join us for the Des Moines Radio Amateurs Association July meeting at 7:00pm on Tuesday July 22nd, 2025 at the Fort Des Moines Museum and Education Center located at 75 E Army Post Rd, Des Moines, IA.

Dean Madsen, N0XR will present and lead a discussion on Meshtastic—an open-source, decentralized mesh network designed to operate on low-power, affordable devices using the 33cm (LoRa) band. Meshtastic enables communication through location sharing, text messaging, and telemetry data without relying on traditional infrastructure.
