The September meeting of the Des Moines Radio Amateurs Associate will be at 7:00pm Tuesday September 24th  at the Fort Des Moines Museum and Education Center, 75 E Army Post Road in Des Moines.

In recognition of September being National Preparedness month, this month’s meeting will feature a show and tell with everyone encouraged to bring their Go Box/Go Pack and tell the group what they included, why and if they have any planned improvements.  The meeting will be moderated by Polk County ARES Emergency Coordinator Jason Walerius, KE0IAV with help from Bob Jimmerson, KA0OMM.  Every licensed amateur that brings a Go Box/Go Pack to present to the group will receive an entry into a door prize drawing.  The top prize being an Icom V86 2M Handheld radio with extra batteries.
