An introduction to radio systems

As a radio hobbyist I have experienced several events where friends and activity organizers are using radios improperly.  These people mean well, but they do not have an understanding of the radio systems that are available to them.  As a ham I am quick to encourage our hobby, but it is not always the best solution for their need.  As I did more research I realized that I did not have a good understanding of the rules that govern the different radio services with the United States.  This program is designed to help all of us better understand the tools that are available and to be better stewards of the airwaves.

Please join me as we discuss the various radio systems that are available.  This will be a guided discussion with opportunities to share ways that we can all improve our hobby and the larger radio community.
