The September meeting of the Des Moines Radio Amateurs Association will be held 7:00pm Tuesday September 26th, 2023 at the Fort Des Moines Museum and Education Center 75 E Army Post Rd, Des Moines, IA.

I Got My Technician License, Tell Me More…
We will build on the VHF/UHF topics discussed last month.  This meeting will feature the Central Iowa Frequency Guide published by the Iowa Ten Meter Group for all to take home.

Some of the topics will include:

  • Linked repeaters
  • The repeater shift and tone (that was forgotten last month).
  • Digital Modes
  • How you can build an inexpensive digital interface to your radio to get on the air with FREE software.
