Join us for the quarterly Polk County ARES meeting October 13th 7:00 PM at the Polk County Emergency Operations Center, 1907 Carpenter.  Meeting will include discussion about the upcoming Des Moines Marathon.  Urbandale Fire Assistant Chief EMS Rob Light will discuss the procedures for the Living History Farms Cross Country Race.

We will also have for sale ($18) Lime green High Visibility Safety vests.  These are the better quality surveyor type vest with additional pockets and sleeves.  These will be imprinted with “Radio Communications” on the back.   They are available is sizes M,L, XL, 2XL, 3XL and 4XL.

You need not be an ARES member to attend this meeting.
